Just for Teachers

Teachers Workshops

Science North has developed a series of dynamic teacher workshops that will bring the Ontario Science and Technology Curriculum to life. Each workshop is designed to give teachers the confidence and resources they need to investigate and explore the scientific concepts involved. These workshops involve teachers in fun, hands-on activities that are easily reproduced for the classroom at little or no cost.  All resources explored during the workshop are provided to each participant on a USB stick in both English and French.

Individual workshop lengths vary, with a standard cost of $1200 + HST, per full day (5 hours), with a maximum capacity of 30 participants. Workshops delivered outside of the City of Greater Sudbury will be charged additional costs for mileage, meals, and accommodations.

Looking for a customized workshop length or topic?  We can accommodate most requests.
