2024 CAMP-IN SEASON

Take a look at our new and improved Camp-In format! After much discussion and consideration, Science North has decided to revamp its overnight program. Students and supervisors will still get the chance to experience an all-night science Extravaganza but with a slight twist in the old format. Check out the example schedule below for more information!

BOOK YOUR VISIT   BOOKING GUIDE

You arrive earlier and leave later! This will allow your students to interact with all the experiences that Science North has to offer – the butterfly gallery, meeting our animal ambassadors, Live Discovery Theatre Shows and other bluecoat lead experiences. Afterwards students will have dinner and then participate in fun and hands-on STEM activities, accompanied by team building activities, IMAX^® and the Planetarium.

In the following format, there is a designated time for the students to rest and relax. Students will get the chance to sleep on their own cot, in our renown Vale Cavern. In the morning, your group will have breakfast, enjoy another Discovery Theatre Show, and conclude the morning with a visit to our Special Exhibit Hall.

• Student — $82 (+HST)
• Supervising Adult — $42 (+HST)

We require a minimum of 25 students to book a camp-in experience. We have a max capacity of 60 students per night.

PLANETARIUM

Travel through the universe in Science North's digital Planetarium. Extend your educational experience into the stars! Your students will be immersed in the sciences of the universe. Led by our scientists, this high-tech, multimedia experience is designed to complement the space curriculum while sparking an interest in the world beyond our planet. Using high-quality imagery and audio, the Planetarium brings to life your students' journey through space.
