Overnight Camp-Ins

Experience Science North overnight!

Camp-Ins can be booked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights in May and June. For Camp-Ins from September to April, including weekends, please contact us at education [at] sciencenorth.ca (education[at]sciencenorth[dot]ca) to inquire about availability.

Groups can choose to sleep in either the Vale Cavern or in the Science Centre itself. Schools will be notified if their desired location is not available or changes. Depending on the size of your group, you might be sharing the science centre with another school.

We ask that there is a minimum of 1 supervisor / 20 students + 1 additional supervisor for the entire group.

• Student Pricing:  $87 per student + HST

• Supervisor Pricing: $40 per student + HST

• Dynamic Earth Add-On: $12 per student + HST

NOTE: A minimum charge equivalent to 20 visitors applies for all Camp-In bookings, regardless of group size. Maximum capacity is 80 visitors per night.

WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH CAMP-INS?

EXTENDED HOURS

• Arrive as the centre is closing and leave when everyone arrives. This will allow your students to fully explore everything Science North has to offer. The gift store is open from 3:30pm to 4:00pm.

DINNER AND BREAKFAST

• Dinner is two (2) slices of pizza, whole fruit, a drink, and an ice-cream cup. Breakfast is a croissant, jam, cookie, fruit, juice, and yoghurt tube.

EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCES

• Enjoy the butterfly gallery, meet animal ambassadors, and attend a Live Discovery Theatre Show, along with other Bluecoat-led experiences.

STEM ACTIVITIES

• Take part in fun, hands-on STEM activities and team-building exercises.

IMAX^® and PLANETARIUM

• Enjoy a film screening at our IMAX theatre (including popcorn and a drink) and a visit to the Planetarium. 

OVERNIGHT STAY

• Students will sleep on their own cots in our renowned Vale Cavern or the science centre.
